“who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,”
Psalm 103:3 ESV
I’m here to encourage somebody today. No matter what you are going through Jesus is still on your side. Your pain, your heartache, your disappointments, God knows about it. And even if it’s been years that you’ve been going through your trial, God still knows, and He hasn’t left your side.
See, I battle mental illness and it’s quite uncomfortable. But, one thing I know for sure it has literally pushed me into the arms of my loving Savior, Jesus Christ. I’ve leaned on Jesus for clarity, for understanding, for strength and for just about everything. Without Jesus I am nothing. Even though I suffer, I suffer for Christ’s sake. And I’m still thankful through it.
Dealing with mental illness has hindered my ability to work a fulltime job like I want, so most days I am at home. But, you know even thought I’m at home most days, it has taught me about being a homemaker. Which was foreign to me prior to my diagnoses. I’ve really leaned into Titus 2:3-5 and am still learning from other ladies who love and follow the Lord. I pray that, I, too will be a good example of a godly woman who loves the Lord and lives out Titus 2.
Since being at home I’ve learned to love working from home so I have two businesses On Grace’s Journey and Lavished by God. Even our trials can produce in us fruit, faith in Christ, endurance, and character.
So, in the meantime I’m leaning on the Lord and into His word. I’m trusting that He will heal me. In His timing, I’m trusting in Jesus always.
Even through the setbacks I can see the masterpiece that Yahweh is building. Through every trial I can see the fruit that Jesus is producing in me. So keep the faith everyone. Jesus is on your side. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
